Masterplanning/Hospitality/ Commercial/ Convention Center/ Marina, Soudi Arabia
2018 Competition
@Oppenheim Architecture The Red Sea Island Resort is a hub for an ecotourism development spread over 11,000 square miles. The Red Sea Development designated Oppenheim Architecture for Zones 1-3, Zone 5, and Zone 6. I was involved from the initial conception to the presentation for Zones 1-3, a desert island.
The strategy for master planning is to create a distinct experience from the human scale to the large-scale environment. After studying the high and low tides and environmental reports, we created waterways to the main marina with a convention center and divided it into several islands based on their guidelines. We developed more on the marina, condo hotels, new-generation condos, mangrove villas, and water villas.
